Scott introduced the United States, bio-energy development and the latest research results indicated that bio-energy as a great potential for development of new energy sources, but the development of new energy does not depend on the technology itself, it is economic, legal, and even the Government policies are closely related. Scott said that at present, the United States the importance of new energy sources will increase the pace of development of new energy sources.

Hai Wen, vice president of Peking University told reporters that by inviting high-level international experts to exchange deep to understand the energy and environment in the new international forefront of scientific development trends, opportunities and challenges exist, the environment and the City College will use the Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University in law, biotechnology, the advantages of economic and other fields, in view of China’s unique resource endowments, energy and environment of the new cross-disciplinary research carried out for the international forefront in the fields to achieve a breakthrough.
