It is reported that Chongqing emerging Gear Co., Ltd., through its affiliates, Chongqing emerging wind energy wind power transmission Technology Co., Ltd. and GE formed a joint venture, the former in the automotive and motorcycle industry, has over 16 years of gear manufacturing experience, while the latter from 2004 began to wind turbine industry has been the supply of transmission components. Accordance with the terms of a joint venture, Chongqing, new wind energy technology as the main controlling party, the gear will be a new factory in Chongqing production.

It is understood that the establishment of the joint venture in Chongqing key investment projects in emerging companies, making Chongqing an official to enter the emerging China’s booming wind energy market. The agreement means that GE will focus on the development of wind power transmission technology of China’s local supply chains to help China’s wind generators industry, production increased from 2005 to one billion watts in 2020 to 100 billion watts.
